SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is an action-packed game developed by Purple Lamp Studios. The game is set in the universe of Bikini Bottom, where SpongeBob and his best friend Patrick find themselves in possession of the Mermaid’s Tears, which can grant wishes to those with pure hearts. However, their excitement leads to unexpected consequences, and they end up opening portals to different Wishworlds. The game features more than 30 costumes, classic and new platforming skills, and the in-game soundtrack includes 101 songs from the series.

In the game, players can unlock new platforming skills like the Fishhook Swing and Karate Kick and explore seven distinct Wishworlds, including Wild West Jellyfish Fields and Halloween Rock Bottom. The game also features the original voice actors of the Bikini Bottom characters and the buddy movie banter between SpongeBob and his companion Balloon-Patrick. The game's story revolves around the rescue of friends who got lost in the Wishworlds and the restoration of Bikini Bottom's iconic buildings.
